La Cabina is an International Medium-length Film Festival (films with a length between 30 and 60 minutes) that is celebrated yearly in the city of Valencia. The event strives to create a forum to show the latest cinematography tendencies and styles in this innovative format through a festival.
There is a large production of medium-length films throughout the world. La Cabina screens films in this format and length with the same quality as films that can be seen in any movie theatre or reference festival.
The festival takes its name from Antonio Mercero’s medium-length film (La Cabina, 1972) in which the actor José Luis López Vázquez is trapped inside a phone booth.
