Franz is an Austrian playboy that time has caught up with. He decides to look for love in foreign country. Through an on-line matching site, he meets Olga, a nurse that lives in Ukraine. Franz travels to Kiev to meet Olga but things won’t turn out exactly as he expected!

Hello my name is Olga is a 38 minute long half-length film, directed by Tatiana Korol. It has participated in several festivals, including Reencontres Henri-Langlois in Poitiers and Clermont Ferrand International Short-Film Festival. Born in Kazakhstan, Korol, she moved to Berlin as child where she studied acting. She later moved to London where she studied Film at the London College of Communication. Her first short-film, Akbulak, was screened at the Berlinale and the Oberhausen Festivals.

Hello my name is Olga is one of the films selected for the Official Section of the 5th Edition of Valencia’s International Half-length Film Festival ‘La Cabina’.
