La Nau: Saturday 18 (20:00) | Monday 20 (20:00)

Synopsis

There was a purely analytical or conceptual art, an explicit will to disregard the aesthetical dimension of a piece of art to create wholly intellectual art. This attempt failed, but it changed the ontology of art. ‘La part maudite’ questions the mistrust towards the aesthetic level of art that started in the decade of 1960s, from what has been called ‘post-conceptual art’; and links it with the progressive colonization of the aesthetic field by capitalism.
