Synopsis

Aloma and Mila are two women that meet in the fantastic lights of summer fake cities of the coast of Valencia. They’re in search of something unknown and they find each other instead, to help cope with loneliness and strangeness of what surrounds them through conversation and movement. A choreographic narrative experimental film that explores the emotions and relationships of two female young adults through their bodies in space in a delicate and playful small story about intimacy.

Tuixén Benet

Tuixén (Barcelona, 1985) graduated as a choreographer from the Barcelona Theater Institute. She has been involved as a choreographer in films, advertising campaigns and video clips such as Ice Cream, White Nights, Trying to be Cool + Drakkar Noir, Sierra y Canada or What you know, a video for which she was nominated for best choreography at UKMVA. She is co-director of the dance company Las hijas locura and guitarist for the rock band Las Suecas. At the same time, she has experimented as a video director with works such as Proyecto Trece, re-makes of art videos of women from the 70s, Three Monster Tales or some video clips.
