Bernardo is a police officer from Tessin. Although he is scared of water, he’s forced to investigate a series of disappearances on the shore of Lake Maggiore, where women have been mysteriously vanishing for generations. Facing the myths and beliefs of a region where the lake seems to be the only suspect of his impossible investigation, Bernardo, along with his daughter Aline, will confront this unfathomable body of water.

Jean-Guillaume Sonnier

In 2008, he was a member of l’ECAL / Ecole Cantonale d’Art de Lausanne. In 2011, he directed ‘A quoi tu joues’ which awarded him the prize for the best Swiss promise at the Locarno festival. In 2020, he directed ‘Tuffo’, co-produced for RTS (Radio Télévision Suisse).
