Through the story of Miguel Vallecillo Mata, a Spanish concert producer based in Paris, we dive into the history of flamenco in France during the 70s and 80s. Miguel tells us about the rise of this musical expansion at a historical moment when Spanish artists looked to France for artistic freedom. Camarón de la Isla, Enrique Morente, Aurora Vargas,… The greatest Flamenco artists began a new journey far from their usual audience, which contributed to making flamenco the cultural reference that it is today.
